An Analysis of Crime and Punishment

"If he has a conscience he will suffer for his mistake. That will be his punishment-as well as the prison."

Hey everyone! This website is the culmination of my having read Crime and Punishment, studied Dostoevsky's life, studied the psychological genre along with actual psychological and philosophical ideas, and now finally presenting what I have learned. I will attempt to answer the question: how has this author's experiences and viewpoints influenced their choice of writing style and genre? I hope you enjoy exploring this website as you too learn much about the thought-provoking story of Crime and Punishment.

Detailing the Project

Spring 2019

This project consists of analyzing the author Dostoevsky, the psychological genre, and the book Crime and Punishment. My Instagram (linked at the top) contains most of my analysis for Dostoevsky while this website will contain most of the genre and book analysis along with connecting all the ideas together into one.
